A busy and well-established business is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in the day-to-day movement, handling and preparation of materials within the warehouse.

What you’ll be doing

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll support the efficient running of the warehouse and dispatch areas. Duties will include:

• Receiving and checking incoming goods
• Moving stock safely within the warehouse
• Preparing materials for dispatch
• Packing, checking and labelling items
• Assisting with stock control and inventory management
• Ensuring stock is rotated correctly
• Maintaining tidy and organised warehouse areas
• Supporting colleagues across the logistics and operations team

This is a varied role where attention to detail and teamwork are important.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to meet every requirement, but experience in the following areas would be helpful:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic IT skills for stock systems or documentation
• Ability to work in a structured and organised way
• A practical approach with good attention to detail
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts would be beneficial but is not essential.
